There were runs aplenty on Wednesday, as Seton Conquistadors defeated Saint John Paul the Great Catholic 21-10.
Seton Conquistadors secured the victory thanks to 15 runs in the third inning. Christine Pacheo, Christina Witter, Oliva Chau, Amelia Geary, Elisabeth Reese, and Theresa Lalli each had RBIs in the big inning.
Saint John Paul the Great Catholic captured the lead in the first inning. Leah Smith drove in one when Smith tripled.
Seton Conquistadors took the lead for good with 15 runs in the third inning. In the third Pacheo doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, Witter singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run, Chau singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Geary singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, Reese singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, Lalli singled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs, Witter singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs, an error scored two runs for Seton, and Catherine Witter singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.
Lalli led things off in the circle for Seton. The pitcher went five innings, allowing ten runs on nine hits and striking out four.

Both Miller and Seton had their offenses going on Thursday, but Seton eventually succumbed 15-9 in the high-scoring affair. Seton struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Miller School of Albemarle, giving up 15 runs. In the first inning, Miller got their offense started. L Pallante drew a walk, scoring one run. Miller School of Albemarle took the lead for good with five runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Pr Braxton singled on a 1-1 count, scoring two runs, Pallante doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run, and J Lohr hit a solo homer. Seton Varsity Conquistadors put up six runs in the third inning. Theresa Lalli, Bella Clune, Amelia Geary, and Elisabeth Reese powered the big inning with RBIs.
Lohr earned the victory in the pitcher's circle for Miller School of Albemarle. Lohr lasted seven innings, allowing eight hits and nine runs while striking out three.
Lalli took the loss for Seton Varsity Conquistadors. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing ten hits and 15 runs while striking out five.

Mary Collins would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Monday, driving in five on three hits to lead Seton Varsity Conquistadors past Madeira 20-2. Collins drove in runs on a single in the second, and 2 more runs with 2 singles in the fourth.
Seton got things moving in the first inning when Theresa Lalli drove in one with a single.
Seton tallied nine runs in the fourth inning. The rally was led by singles by Francesca Terreri, Collins 2 singles, Madelyn Mcklosky, and Josseline Avila, a groundout by Delaney Farmer, and an error on a ball put in play by Elisabeth Reese.

Theresa Lalli was in the zone on Tuesday, tallying five hits and leading Seton Varsity Conquistadors to a 19-6 win over Quantico. Lalli doubled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the third, homered in the fifth, and tripled in the seventh.
Seton Varsity Conquistadors earned the victory despite allowing Quantico to score four runs in the fourth inning. Quantico offense in the inning was led by S Geiss, J Sotelo, I Wright, and A Moroyoqui, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Amelia Geary would not be denied at the plate on Monday, picking up four hits and leading Seton Varsity Conquistadors to a 17-5 win over Foxcroft Varsity. Geary homered in the first, singled in the second, homered in the fourth, and doubled in the fifth.
Seton Varsity Conquistadors got on the board in the first inning when Delaney Farmer singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.
Theresa Lalli pitched Seton Varsity Conquistadors to victory. The righty surrendered five runs on five hits over five innings, striking out seven.
