Terreri's Walkoff Gives Seton Conquistador Varsity Victory Over Highland
Seton Conquistador Varsity defeated Highland 7-6 on Thursday thanks to a walk-off triple. Seton trailed 6-5 in the bottom of the fifth inning. Cat Heneberry walked followed by a fielders choice from Kallie Dalrymple that Cat beat out at second. With two on and 1 out and an 0-2 count Regina Terreri hit a long drive off the right field fence for a triple, driving in the tying and winning runs. And igniting a massive celebration at home plate.

Not to be forgotten in the last inning heroics was a critical defensive play made by Cat Pechie in the top of the 5th. With Seton down 1 and a runner on 3rd Pechie the senior right fielder charged a hard hit 1 hop line drive and fired it to first getting the runner out. This play prevented the the run keeping the defecit at 1. Setting up the game dramatic ending.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Seton Conquistador Varsity collected five hits and Highland five
- Seton Conquistador Varsity scored four runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a double by Meghan Curley and a double by Ashley Catckett.
- Regina Terreri earned the win for Seton Conquistador Varsity. She pitched five innings, allowing six runs, five hits, and striking out one.
- Curley and Terreri each drove in two runs to lead Seton Conquistador Varsity.
The Team looks to build on their solid play in the regular season finale on Monday at Foxcroft.
