HOLY CHILD: 7
The 2019 softball season got off to a fast start. The team went on the road to play Connelly School of the Holy Child. Sofia Garcia lead the season off with a 4 pitch walk and stole second and third. This set the tone for the day. The Seton line up used patience at the plate aggressive base running and timely hitting, including Christie Pecheco's first career homerun/ Grand Slam to score 22 runs in 3 innings. The defense and pitching was on its game early. With nice fielding plays by shortstop Maddy Beyers. Lydia Lewandiwski pitched 3 solid innings to record her first win of the season. It was a good way to start the season and the team looks forward to many more successful days like this.
Softball returns to the diamond on Monday 3/18, 4:30 @ Quantico High School.
